Should be indicated on the fuel flap..

1 person or 5 persons will have different tire pressure requirements.

That is for stock tire sizes.

Mine is 39psi front, 37psi rear but I'm on 18 inch tires.

I pump 260 (sorry, dunno how to convert to psi) for both front and back, using 225/40R18 tyres.

Please advise if this is inappropriate.

250 front 240 rear. New S40 stock 16" rims and tyres.

Checked the tyre after driving and the contact seems perfect with the road, from edge to edge. :D

why all the guesswork? the recommended pressure is pasted on the side of the driver's door.

True, but the ride is not so smooth leh.... I followed the recommended, then feel that the tyre looks a bit not enough pressure..

biggest mistake u can make is to judge the book by the cover ... looks won't tell u anything cos some tyres have stiff sidewalls and some have soft sidewalls.

stiff sidewalls will always look over inflated ...
soft sidewalls will always look under inflated ...

best thing to do - go with the numbers on the driver's door when in doubt.

Long distance driving will create more heat to the tyres, thus hot air expand.

Am thinking of going for 16" Oz rims. Any recommendation or comments?

As for the tyres, I was thinking of using 205/50 for the front and 225/45 for the rear. What do you all think?

Maybe can try to get a set of 16" T4 stock rims from one of the guys here. I'm sure there's a set somewhere since most of us traded them for 17".

Calling fatfrog...... time trade up to 17"?

Anyone who is willing to part with their old 16", please let me know.

Thanks.

Any comments though on the tyres to use?

Hi all,
Not to tease anyone's IQ but do check pressure with relatively cool tyres if you are really fussy.
